So my right hand drive Transit has 2 batteries under the driver seat
We intend to have the bed and some over head storage on the left, which means
Rest of the storage kitchen sink fridge go on the right (Water tank grey water tank)

Leisure batteries I had initially planed under the passenger seat but with cabling and placement B2B ...it might be easier and neater to place the bank on the right hand side...

Am I OCD if I worry about uneven weight distribution.
I could feed her more cake to level out

Seriously how have you all placed your battery banks and chargers ...
Photos please

In my Fiat based Hymer the starter battery is in front of the drivers seat LHD as its LHD. My 3 leisure batteries are on the same side a out 1½m back. Heater is also on the same side. The only heavy item on the other side is the fridge freezer.

I would put then under the passenger seat to keep the cables short and the space in the passenger seat isn't that useful compared to under bunk storage.

Others may differ.

Not easy to distribute the weight evenly, I just use different pressures in the air bags on the rear suspension to level the van.

My coach built mk7 has 2 starter batteries under drivers seat, 2 leisure batteries, charger, solar controller all under the passenger seat. Just make sure when the passenger seat is the lowest position it doesn’t short out terminals on leisure batteries. Their is a slight step from my cab to habitation area, a length of angle aluminium is run across with all the cables inside.

Mine are around the RH rear wheel arch, opposite the shower/toilet. Above them is storage cupboard all the way to the ceiling.

Haven’t got a b2b, just split charging, mains and solar, normally plug van in for 48hr before setting off to cool fridge, would normally last 7 days summer 2-3 days winter due to blown air heating without charging, since added 100w solar haven’t run out yet.
