All the gear, and no idea!
Well after a few mods I finally got round to weighing my 255 today..

Me and the Mrs
One travel pop up seat
Full diesel
Full water
Full Alugas 14+11kg
100w solar
4m awning
Towbar
Avtex tv and sound bar
Standard spare wheel
Cadac and large aluminium fold up table
All crockery and pans
All clothes and shoes and boots
Food and two crates of beer and 6 bottles of wine
Few tools and other bits and pieces

Front axle 1500kg
Rear axle 2000kg
Total weight 3500kg

Doesn’t leave me anything for noseweight for my bike trailer

Oh dear here we go again, what you changing it for then, been there done that and got the T shirt

Well you are close for sure, hook the trailer on and by the time you have drunk some beer and used a bit of water and diesel you will be spot on(y)

Eh?? No plans to change at the moment, was just putting it out there as I haven’t weighed it since I’ve done the towbar alugas and other bits and pieces! Not slagging it off one way or other, I roughly knew my payload when I bought my van(y)
Uprating is always an option, no licence restrictions and 18 yrs away from my medical:D(y)

Drop the water and move the beer ... sorted!

As you say payload tight on standard vehicle but to be expected as so well equipped and 7.4 metres.

You could carry some of that weight on the trailer or you could just carry 30 litres of water for journey and fill up when you arrive on site (that is best part of 70 litres) do you need a picnic table, we use free standing one that came with it.

I would be interested if you go down the re-rating option as I have 14 years to go.
