Hi all
Thinking of touring in Wales next week
Sat till Easter Monday
Any suggestions on scenic routes and must visit places
Cheers

The Elan Valley is a stunning walking and driving area. You get to see where us Brummies get our council pop from 😂

Remember the kids are off school so check if your using sites

There are hidey holes but van size dependant do you want sand and sea or mountains and streams

If you want free overnights powys is your best bet and you can have a great time

Some sites are charging silly prices you may need to book

As above in Powys, free overnight pay for daytime at the machine.

Worth a visit if such things interest you and they are open, always check! https://www.internalfire.com/

Other places we know and like in no particular order...

Don’t forget to stock up with beer and wine, it’s expensive in Wales

Would certainly recommend The Gower, especially, Mumbles, Rhosseli, Pembrokeshire, St Davids, Ellan Valley is a must see. The whole coastline around The Gower and Pembrokeshire is stunning.

So is diesel, 143.9 / litre at Morrisons in Aberystwyth last weekend! 136.9 at Tesco in Telford at the same time.

Vale of Rheidol railway is scenic and interesting, if its running. There is also a hydroelectric power station near there that is really interesting.

In region of £138. Something depending upon where you are

Doesn't most fuel come in through South Wales?
Usually cheaper in Pembrokeshire but not this week. I wonder if its down to school holidays ?

North Wales has plenty to offer. Conwy and Caernafon castles, Llandudno and the Great Orme, the north edge of Snowdonia, then either to Anglesey or towards Porthmadog which has two steam railways and vast Blackrock Sands, and Criccieth which has a dinky castle!

It depends where you are arriving from, and as others have said, it is school holidays.
