Interesting question as I was about to ask exactly the same thing.
They are so delicate and impossible to get behind.

I have a electric roof vent which is impossible to get behind, side windows easy as you say, but still very delicate and easy to damage.
What are your suggestions to clean them without damage?

Spray with diluted bleach was recommended last time i asked this not tried it yet. I suppose prevention would be better in the future i wonder how you can prevent it ?

I had a similar issue, white blind with a line of black dots where a fly had an untimely death.

I found it easier to replace the fly screen with black one's rather than attempt to clean it!

You can get replacement fkyscreen material on ebay

Cillit Bang bleach & hygiene, one small spray leave for a minute or two then wipe off. Stuff works on everything. We had issues with our light coloured worktop which is easily stained with tea & coffee and a bugger to get off, this gear works on that too... top of loo cassettes etc.

Thinking of using it on me spots!
