Cut our teeth now……so just above useless!
Morning Folks…..just wanting a little help please.
The water pump has started to come on for a couple of seconds every now and then by itself.
I’ve had a look around and noticed a small drip next to the waste water pipe/tap and looks like it’s coming from what I think is a tank? Just behind the rear axle in the nearside.
Could this be the issue?
I take it we can just turn the pump off at night so it’s not annoying us through the night?
Our van is a Burstner Aviano i727
Thanks
M

Hi
A leak from your grey water tank will not cause the pump to cycle. You need to look for a leak from: pump, pipe unions, taps etc.

Geoff

Your boiler over pressure valve may be leaking or the frost valve leaking. If water coming out the waste with tap closed is a indication that a tap may not close fully anymore. We found the tap for the basin was loosing water and pump kicking in. I changed the tap and stoped it.

Need to find where the water is going/coming from. I’d have a good look around the pump, and boiler area to make sure everything is dry. Until you know for sure I’d be keeping the pump off unless you are using the water, possibly even opening a tap after switching the water off to release the pressure.

Thanks for your help guys. Turns out that we sprung a leak on the pipe fitted directly to the top of the pump. Lower down there is a rough edged piece of timber and the pipe had been rubbing against it. After testing the pump once home and seeing the water leak I traced it back to the pipe attached to the top of the pump. I tried to seal it but being high pressure I couldn't get it sealed. It’s booked in to be ch aged this week.
