Evening Ladies and gents.

Last year I had a problem with the water pump constantly running, we used to get over it temporarily but turning it off at the panel, however kids left it on one day and when we cme back in the evening I assume it had burnt out.

Hoping to get away next week for a few days and was wondering if its an easy job to replace it, I believe its a submersible type though Ive not checked

Thanks in advance

If it’s the same as in my Elegance it’s easy to fix. Take off fresh water cap to see what sort of pump, mines a twin pump, and then just disconect wires and water pipe and replace. It’s a bit tricky getting hand in tank and make sure you sit the pump on bottom of tank. (y)

We had to change our pump whilst in France last year. We have a Burstner Ixeo and hubby did it in under 1 hour with no swearing, it’s also the submersible type. Now we always carry a spare pump.

2019 Iexo 736, submersible pump access through side of tank, on ours the pump is activate through micro switches in the taps or the button to flush the toilet. Check if any of these has failed in the made contact position, this will cause the pump to run constantly.

Just fitted a new submersible to my MH. Believe me, if I can do it anyone can. As per GerTee, just ordered a spare to have up my sleeve if it happens again.

on our burstner its disconnect the wires disconnect the outlet hose out side the tank undo the back nut and thread the elbow through into the tank wires just pull through into the tank then the whole pump with pipe and wires comes out the hatch replace pump and then reverse to get it all back together

probably wont get a pump in time to go away next week anyway
