Anyone with similar experience care to share their wisdom on this issue and possible solution.

It's been an issue from day one really, or from the 1st time we travelling in the rain.

Looking the gasket/seal that should in fitted in the joint has, basically not been and the marks support that this joint is the point of ingress.

Just had to drive 2 days in light rain and we now have a small swimming pool in the garage.

This is the 1st time we've driven in the rain since arriving in USA and we're not back in UK for another 6 months.
You can follow our misadventures @ https://www.polarsteps.com/JezAng/7186963-gap-year

I'm thinking I'm going to have to cut away the NOT installed gasket/seal and apply sealant, I don't really have any choice but to DIY at this time.
Fortunately the pullout installation means the content is not swimming, but things are still getting wet/damp.
No doubt the dealer we bought from will take issue with DIY but as they failed to notice/bother to correct the seal on original delivery
return by original owner (Maybe this was part of the reason for the return after only 6 month), check before resale or noticed/reported when they
installed the towing bracket. 1000010704.jpg 1000010705.jpg Garage Seal 3.jpg

A good quality cat litter ( not the cheap smelly ones) in a leg of an old pair of nylons will take up an amazing amount of water. It works out fairly cheap as a bag of litter can do several 'sausages'.
Take out excess water before laying the sausage down.

It also works very well for condensation.

I'd love to take my MH to North America. May well but have 2 hairy dogs who complicate matters.

Had thought about buying an RV and selling at the end - but seems tricky to get insurance when you have no fixed address.

DIY temporary fix:
Cut away redundant gasket/seal cleaned thoroughly, scrapping off crap and then with solvent cleaner.

Then applied liberally roofing sealant

Here's hoping 1000010826.jpg 1000010823.jpg

Not having a US address is an issue for buying and insurance.
There are 1000's of rv's for sale, selling with a termination date would leave you vulnerable.
By far the "cheapest" option is shipping.
The Naturally the longer you stay the "cheaper" averaging it out.

UPDATE: Motorhome now back @ Swift factory for 5th repair attempt.

After 4 failed attempts by Swift Authorised dealer/repairer to resolve water ingress issue, while driving, Swift have agreed a return
to factory repair.
Note after the 4th dealer repair attempt there is now water ingress while stored, the garage doors themselves now filled with water, video attached, that pours out when opened.

I have a similar problem on a Hymer MLT

It only affects the lower left side locker (where the electroblock sits)
The cause I have found is the trickle of water coming off the roof when the van in parked slightly 'nose down'

The solution is two fold:

I have put a slight nick in the rubber seal at the bottom, so that any water that gets in, has a place to get out.

I bought a length of 'eyebrow' drip stop (Fiammia sell it as do others) , so that water is directed several inches either side of the locker door.

Quite why one locker seems to leak and the rest don't is not a question I have been able to answer either, and in the long term I can see that maybe every window and locker door may need it's own 'eyebrow'

For the doors I may well add some form of deflector after Swift have repaired it anyway.
It's more the fact that there was no issue with the doors leaking until 4th repair attempt, I think the dealer applied sealant
everywhere and blocked the waters path around the door.
