I posted a link in that thread.....👍🏼

but here it is again

My advice, where ever you buy from is make sure it’s a genuine Heos cap......

Does anyone know where I could get this? My water inlet point is really fiddly to use after I've unlocked it!!
If you're intending to use this in place of your existing locking cap then I'm afraid you aren't supposed to use them like that as they can be easily removed and thus also allow others to access your fresh water tank which isn't something you want to do and as it doesn't seal it won't keep bugs etc out either.

What's the issue with your existing fill point/cap?

Does it enclose a vent to allow air to escape when filling?
It can be set for different sized openings and with the fitting or removal of a washer be used with vented or unvented tanks.

have a look at the pictures in the advert

Just tried mine and it doesn't lock anyway!
But at least it will look like it does! :giggle:
Does it enclose a vent to allow air to escape when filling?
Yes but not sufficiently when there's a lot of water pressure.

Have a shuftie at this thread about the Heos filler

TBH if you have a flap that covers it....go for it and leave it on.

Despite what people might say theres not much demand for stealing people’s water or p*ssing in their water tanks etc.

PS... an open vented tank doesn’t usually have any type of filter on the end of the vent to prevent bug entry either, some tanks do vent back to the filler neck tho, again if you have a flap, should be fine.

When I lost my HEOS type filler cap I found a spare cap with no barrel that had been left in the locker when we bought the van. A double male hose lock type adapter fitted were the barrel should fit so I glued it in . Cheaper than buying another HEOS cap.
I keep a selection of hose lock type fittings, double male for joining hoses, a couple of different size tap fittings, a clamp on tap adapter and a couple of female fittings with stop valves in them.

Not sure what the problem you have but you could put the cap in hot water, that helps with sticky cap locks, well it did mine.
