Water constantly dripping from Truma Ultrastore water heater's breather pipe

Our 3rd of three problems from our most recent trip is a water heater drip

I'll be looking at the bits directly soon, but in preparaton for touching it, I've looked for the replacement part.
It doesn't look available.
Ours is this type: -


Truma sell one with a 90deg bend: -

Is that the same part just redesigned or only for more recent water heaters?

Fingers crossed, that when I disassemble mine I can see limescale (etc.) blocking normal operation.

I purchased a new one but on inspection of the old one I could see the limescale, soaked in a solution and now works great.

Gave mine a good tap with a screwdriver and it took up.

Rubbish weather in West Berks so maybe I could look at this leak.

I still haven’t found & bought an exact replacement part. Is the part in pic 1 in the 1st post replaced by the part in pic 2? That has a redesigned position for the outlets.

Also, does the white screw barrel part undo towards the heater?
Looking at the picture reminds me that I think that’s a “yes”.

The second pic is the same part as the first pic, BUT the top hose outlet is now at 90 degrees instead of straight up.
The white “screw barrel” is just a nut that I assume just has an olive inside and will unscrew towards the boiler.

I’ll stop procrastinating and get this smaller of three issues sorted.

I took the red sidevalve off the water heater.
Removed the clear drain tube.
Looked in to the hole where that clear tube had been.
It looked a bit covered in limescale so mrskevenh dropped some white vinegar in there.

We've not filled up with water to test the result of that work (remember, we have a leaking kitchen tap to address first).

I didn't remove the wider, hot water tube.
I'll learn about how that comes off if I decide to replace the sidevalve.
Thinking ahead, how does that connector for the hot water piping work? Do I pull them apart? They don't undo like a threaded part.

So far, with cold water, the leak has gone since the white vinegar ‘clean’.
I expect need 60-70 deg C water to know if the drip has fully gone.

Ran the truma water heater up to temperature and no drips in preceding and afterwards usage.
