Autocruise starspirit

I'm a newbie
I know this might be obvious but when I fill the water tank from outside does this also fill the toilet flush and the water heater?..

Only got rid of ours last year but can't remember (see my memory thread) what I do remember is the new van has a seperate fill for the loo and I remember thinking this is different so if I remember correct the Starspirit didn't. With me so far, good, but yes it should be filling the heater and the loo.

Oh and icantremember should be along soon, if I remember right he had a Starspirit once.

For the water heater to fill you have to open a hot tap until it flows through. You will of course need the pump turned on.
Make sure you have closed the boiler drain valve or it will just pump straight onto the road

Never had a Starspirit but we have an Autocruise Augusta ..... We certainly just have one fresh water tank which supplies the water heater, all the taps and the Thetford flush.

Follow what Techno100 has said above and you should be ok.

There are some m/hs which do have a separate tank for the toilet flush and this is usually filled in the same locker where you access the cassette.

Toilet flush is fed from main water tank. The rest is as Andy says.(y)

I have an 04 Starspirit. If you have any more Starspirit questions don't hesitate to ask. I'll answer if I can.

Did you fill it with water before switching on? if you didn't it would have cut out.

Yes all sorted now. BUT another problem...... The key to the gas locker etc. has just broken, luckily it didn't break in the lock but now can't open that door to turn on gas bottle and have been to key cutter but they can't find key profile to cut another!! Hope I have spare at home..... Good job this my first outing and only for couple days..... Teething problems....

Hi Andy, very interested in the microwave - do you use the plug just below? Was it a special microwVe with low output? Also love the crockery cupboard - what did you use to stand the plates etc.. Ta. Always open to new ideas. ..

Some subjects left Autocruise with a one piece rear seat support that meant removing 8 cushions to gain access. no wonder they went bust!
