Watch what you eat!

I would love a good Haggis. One of those dishes I miss living here in France where they think they are the best at cuisine. They don't know what they are missing.

How can I look at a Haggis and not think of Salmond!

I don't think Haggis has any fish in it. ::bigsmile:

How can I look at a delicious haggis and not think of the cruelty involved in fattening the poor wee creatures up in the weeks before Saint Jimmys day to get them ready for the table? Force feeding Irnbru and thistle cake down their necks.....

Having a Curry evening with the family tonight.

As I am cooking I thought I might make a haggis curry but am having difficulty finding Haggis legs in the local butchers.

I reckon that if I start off now, and there are no traffic jams on the M5/M6 I may just have time to get to Scotland and back in time for tonight.

Can anyone recommend a good Haggis butcher?

It needs to have been reared with love and fed on Whisky each day if it is to be fully appreciated by my family.

Cheating tonight and having tinned haggis, living in England has lowered my standards.:D;)

Looking forward to a free range haggis that the local butcher is selling.

I am out for tea tonight so it will be haggis tomorrow. probably highlanders chicken a plump chicken breast stuffed with haggis served with whisky sauce. Might have haggis on it's own as a starter. We can get haggis all year round we love it.
