On another thread on here we ended up talking about our favourite books... Anyone enjoying the Sunday night serial re Poland invasion might enjoy one of my favourite books from years ago...

Used to read him quite a few years ago, thanks for the reminder will try and find some books by him. :)
 
Yes enjoying the series , really well done . It really brings home what sacrifices people made and how man can be so murderous/violent.

Read a few of his years ago including Mila 18 but so long ago I need to re-read them. Loved Exodus, ( definitely a favourite) but can never find them in the library or on e books.

I keep looking out for them in charity shops.. If I ever find a double, I'll buy one for you. :)
 
Agree brilliant book, We like the series, but can it do justice to what really happened.
 
One of my favorite author's if you're interested in Ireland try Trinity.

Just seeing your Avatar of Trump and 'bluster' on the same post makes me think what a field day some media will have with Trump's past quotes once he is out of office.
