Yes enjoying the series , really well done . It really brings home what sacrifices people made and how man can be so murderous/violent.

On another thread on here we ended up talking about our favourite books... Anyone enjoying the Sunday night serial re Poland invasion might enjoy one of my favourite books from years ago...

.. Mila 18 by Leon Uris.
Not WW2 I know but Winnie the poo and a blustery day has got to be up there. :)

Read a few of his years ago including Mila 18 but so long ago I need to re-read them. Loved Exodus, ( definitely a favourite) but can never find them in the library or on e books.
