Tested this morning and the wife loves it.

Gentle heat in a super soft throw 100w max.

Pulled 8.5 Amps (on high) according to shunt using inverter on to also run amazon speaker in standby.....

I've sometimes wondered where these would be better than a duvet but then I read one of the reviews on Dunelm website purporting to be from a customer who said something to the effect of ''the first one lasted 10 months so we bought another one and now hope it will last for 12 months''
Once bitten twice shy might have been more like my reaction.. Can you give us an update around this time next year please...

Don't know where the missus bought her's from, but the whippet gravitates towards the bit that's resting on the floor !
One of our cats was a bit poorly this weekend and sure enough never usually gets on the sofa but once we showed her it has a warm blanket on it she wouldn't move.

Worked really well this weekend as Karon has been waking up very early and my medicine makes me sleep late, so avoids our slightly noisy blown air system heater going on and she's all cosy on sofa.
