Looking for late model campervan with double or 2 single beds sleeping longways.

Globecar Campscout - 2 single beds at rear ... a member on here has just put his up for sale via Motorhome Depot - there's a 2012 on one there at the moment but his is a 2018 model I think.

We prefer back lounge and make bed up at night like the Autotrail vline 635 sport

How about a Devon Aztec which comes in 5.4m, 5.99m or 6.36m lengths. It's the exact same layout as the Autotrail 635:

It's just a shame Mel that the advert doesn't mention any of the expensive gear such as VB, E&P and Gaslow etc.

It does say that it has a radio aerial though.

John Neckender I think you need to chat with the company and get them to sort their crappy advert out. (y)

Make sure the design you are interested in has sufficient dedicated storage space for all of your camping parafenalia - deck chairs, windshields, levelling blocks, hook-up leads etc. Many like that don't and you end up cluttering the interior when travelling.

The Globecar Campscout, Adria Twin, RAPIDO V68 and others have practical storage arrangements that avoid the need to pile stuff inside when on the road.

Yes, and I would need to store a topper/extra duvet as I find the beds made up from cushions quite uncomfortable.

Great spec van - someone will get a great deal if they're looking for a van with the extras.

I have the trendscout 5.64 long with 2 singles at the rest or a massive queen size bed. It's raised at the rear so plenty of storage space for chairs etc. I'm happy with the van EXCEPT it doesn't have electric heating or electric water heating to take advantage of ehu when it's cold. I have to take a small fire which is noisy running at night.

How much did it cost new ? £48,000 for a two year old PVC that has done 12,000 miles seems a sensible asking price to me .

With all the extras that are fitted the van has cost me approx £65000.

Wow, £17,000 depreciation in two years ,I thought Globecar held their prices better than that but obviously not. Looks like there is a bargain to be had by someone .

Nothing to do with Globecar holding their prices it’s what I’m willing to accept for our van.

Not with all the kit that's been put on it and even without, it would still be cheap for a Globecar especially one with the Elegance pack. These are the most popular Globecar layouts and in demand, it's rare for them to come up on the second hand market, and certainly not of this age/quality.

The advert doesn't do the van justice. Full specification to follow needs to be replaced by a list of what exactly is fitted . Without that list it looks like it is about £4,000 less than a new van which obviously it isn't, and also include it cost almost £65,000 new .

Motorhome depot advert now updated.

John.

I've just tallied up a new Campscout with your full spec John and it would cost close-on a zillion pounds, give or take a decimal point :D

Someone will get a damn good deal for sure.

It's just a shame that you hadn't been selling it a few months ago or else it would be sitting on my drive now.
