I am looking for a double step for a bit of a experiment even a damaged or bent one will do any size manual or electric.

Try Ebay and search for Omni and Omnistore step as well as Thule step as Thule took over Omnistore
There are some on there but it will depend on what your budget is

Thanks if I knew that this would definitely work I can buy a new one from Rainbow conversions for £375, but as it is a bit of trial and error project I thought I would look for a used one to hack about.🙂

As far as I’m aware, Thule just rebranded the Omni kit, so design etc.should be exactly the same (albeit any improvements made)

What are you trying to achieve, if i may ask, just interested, please
Joe

Our Carthago has what they term as a hide away step, it sort of rolls in on its self all very neat, but when closed it hangs down to within 100mm or the road very prone to damage (ask the previous owner)

So I am going to adapt a Thule / Omnistor double as an alternative that would give much better clearance in fields or uneven ground.

OK. might be interested in the roll out if you put it up for sale, thanks
