Ok ok I’m being a little bit lazy but I have spent two hours in the wild camp / pub stops . Looking for a cracking sea facing spot in Wales for a 7m PVC. Also got 2 large dogs to walk .

come on, give up those gems :-)

Wales! They're all Baptists and don't drink.

I know this because I married one but we celebrated (with significant liquid intake) our 40th wedding anniversary yesterday.

They take time to convert but it can be done. :)

Well I am aiming to get to black rock , just south of Anglesey and I’ll be travelling clockwise around the coast - as I love the sea

That’s one on my short list - thanks for the recommendation

Strumble head light house ... there is often ( in summer ) a couple of motorhomes parked for the night

Ynyslas nature reserve

You can, or could in summer park on the estuary sands. Not sure about overnight there though, it might get a bit damp if the tide comes in.
Just head north on the coast road from Borth.

Shell Island is close to Blackrock Sands

Lligwy beach carpark over looks the sea nice beach to walk the dogs nice cliff top walk to moelfre and lunch in kimnel arms. If lucky you may spot seals and dolphins we have in the past

You could try Fontygary Caravan Park, Rhoose. It’s about 12 miles west of Cardiff.

It overlooks the Bristol Channel, has access to an indoor pool, gym, and bar. One of the best Indian Restaurants is within the grounds too. A Pub is just over the road and a 14th Century Thatched Pub, The Blue Anchor, is about one mile away.

A twenty minute walk will take you to the railway station for a train to Cardiff, about 30 mins and £7.50 for a “flexible” day ticket.

The site itself slopes but is regularly used by motorhomes. Blocks are needed for comfort.

Thanks for all the replies much appreciated

Cae Du Campsite.... stayed there. Basic but you have a motorhome so don't need showers or toilets. Does have the relevant drains though. Just below Dolgellau on the coast.
