I don't think this has been mentioned yet but you can now get Proof of your vaccination record on an app in Wales ready for travelling.
It's a bit of a faf but does work.

Applied for my letter got it through the door in 2 days..

I’ve also got the letter but it would be more convenient to have all the information stored on a smart phone with a QR code which can be scanned easily and quickly

Imagine it will happen at some point. To be honest more things to worry about than that..
