Hi folks
Thanks folks for your help with my daughter's mobility scooter for her MS.
We have managed to obtain a disability modified VW Caddy 2007/57 plate so she can put the scooter in the back, this means she can continue going to work for the time being.
Where I need the famous Funsters help is, I need some rear seats for the Caddy life.
Can anyone help?
Phil

Buy a double mini bus seat which should come on its own steel frame and built in seatbelts, bolt it through the floor to the chassis, put it through its MOT, then change the V5 to show 4 travel seats and send it off. Then tell your insurance company about the change.
Bought mine from Cabmasters a few years ago.

Assuming your Caddy is LWB ( i think in the UK you call the LWB "Life" it's a UK specific name) then you can you should already have the floor rails for the rear bench seats, sounds like you're just missing the seat though. Make sure the rails haven't been removed for the conversion. I assume eBay would be the place to start for the rear bench seat.

Do you have the factory fitted seat belts for those rear bench seats ?

We have a 7 seat (LWB) Caddy from 2012 but they haven't really changed that much, just dashboard and light layout updates.

Thanks to all for the suggestions.
Yes it is the Caddy Life we have. It still has the rails and seatbelts are still fixed to the sides of the Caddy it is just the seats we are missing. The 6yr old is happy to sit on a box but the "grumpy" teenage 14yr old says it's not cool and needs the bonafide seats.
We understand the rear seats can be folded down and the scooter will then go in the back, with the seats back up for family trips
