Vudome Satallite System

I have a 2013 Autotrail Tracker which has a Vudome satallite fitted, being completely new to the satallite world I have been unable to get a signal on to my drop down screen, I've checked the satellite andit is fine did manage to get a picture once so I know it works, any tips please, thanks.

Is it a factory fitted ELE media head and drop down screen between the cab seats?
Does your outfit also have a Status TV aerial?
If so the head is usually wired to the aerial.
Not sure if this head unit has a satellite tuner so there may be another unit.

Thanks for getting back to me, it is a factory fitted unit, I don't have a status ariel fitted yet may do in the future. I've read up on how the Vudome works and it seems pretty straight forward took the dome cover off to check it moves, no problem there just cant pick up any channels when running a scan on the TV.

Are you currently parked where you have clear line of sight of the satellite? no trees, tall buildings etc.
I presume the TV has a built-in satellite tuner if so in the settings there will be an indication of the receiver signal strength this should be very good if you are in the UK.
Also check the dish is locked on to the correct satellite Astra 28.2 is the main UK one.
