Voxi SIMs

We use a Voxi SIM in our mifi (and my phone) for travelling in Europe.

Received a text from Voxi this morning tightening up EU usage. Now capped at 20gb or your 30 day data allowance (whichever is the smallest) and the unlimited social media and video streaming is now restricted to UK use only. Also now limited to 62 days in any 4 month period, and usage must be less than your usage at home.

I think this brings Voxi into line with Vodaphone's conditions.

Need to look for the best alternative. Has anyone found a service provider that doesn't restrict EU roaming?? Minxy Girl ??

Hi, i got the same message from vodafone when i was in Spain(end oct till mid mar) for my mobile but used the superdrug sim £20 per month all unlimited(3 network) without any limits in my mifi for all the footy and tv through my firestick, with no props

Thought this might happen after brexit. New restrictions on Voxi mobile data usage abroad so now my allowance is 20gb when out of the UK instead of 60gb. Anybody with a Vodafone plan receive a similar text as Voxi are a subsidiary of the company.

I think the only PAYG/no contract sim now is the Superdrug one ... but I don't expect it to last seeing as all the other providers are capping stuff.

I started another thread recently about a provider I'd never heard of who also allow EU usage at the same rates as for UK, I haven't investigated how long you can use it abroad as we wouldn't usually go for that long:

If anyone is after a free PAYG sim with free credit each month then this might suit. Background: Hubby has just transferred his original 'Three' phone number to his Vodafone contract as his credit on Three had finally been used up however he likes to have a second sim for the odd occasions...
