Still working through what I need to convert to Lifepo4! Still a toss up between 2x Sterling 100ah Lifepo4 or KS. Lean towards the former coz that’s what Eddievanbitz fits! . Any thoughts?
I’ve also taken on board views on here about going for higher capacity BtB than 30A. I now think I could get in to seatbox a Votronic 1212-45 or 1212-50 triggered by d+. The latter is less expensive and smaller. I think because not an isolated version. Not sure a Sterling 60A would fit. So any thoughts on either of those Votronic units? Thanks

Actually just realised I’ve been muddling width and height for batteries! Just as well I measured twice…. So Sterling 100ah won’t fit. Each battery has to be no more than 330x170w x 232h. So any thiuyon that?

I fitted the 50A version last year and recently added a Roamer 230Ah battery. I'm very happy with it, it's a solid unit with integral fan. I haven't heard the fan come on and it seems to stay nice and cool. But I have been running it on the lowest setting of 33A -it can go up to 68A. The max with an EBL is 49A. I'm planning to adjust the settings for the drive home to see how it copes with 49A. I have it under the passenger seat so it's easy enough to check the temperature.
I think Pausim has the 45A version. I think it may be the older version?

The Roamer under seat battery will fit I think if your 2 are side by side rather than end to end.

Just checked and the output current is max 49A, the input current could be up to 68A.

Thanks for that Paddymcc. As for batteries I’m a ninny. Just checked again and Sterling seem to quite battery size as l x h x w whereas everyone else seems to give l x w x h. So if that’s right I think the Sterling will fit after all. Any other makes to recc that might fit my dimensions of 330 x 170w x 232h ? Thanks

I went with the 1212-45A isolated one, and whilst it's a fantastic piece of kit, I think I'd advise just to go with the cheaper 1212-50A non isolated one instead

I have had the Votronic 1212 50 for 2 + years, it has been faultless, along with, originally 1 x Sterling 100ah and more recently a KS 200 seatbase battery, happy with both although the Sterling was replaced twice under warranty.
2 x Sterling 's would not fit under the Ford seat hence I went for the KS seatbase 200.

Don’t forget Lithium batteries can be installed on their side, they don’t need to be ‘upright’.

We have 2 Votronic 30amp b2b fitted, very small and neat, would they fit easier than 1 larger unit?

I wondered about 2 Votronic 30 a - presumable they are wired in parallel? The 50 a though has more ability to alter its parameters and will work out cheaper. So if it will fit in then that makes more sense.

I have had the Votronic VCC1212 50 fitted for a year. Very pleased wi5h it. No problems at all. So nice to arrive with fully charged batteries.

Thanks for all the responses. I’ll go for the Votronic 1212-50 then. They are in short supply but there seems to be one place which has stock. Then a question of deciding on the batteries. Thanks

I would check with Votronic, I would have thought 1 might be better than 2. The B2B is designed to have a profile set to the type of battery so that it can monitor the state of charge and end the the charge phases when the appropriate voltage and charge rate is achieved. With 2 acting in parallel I would be concerned that they will be reading each other’s voltage and not the battery’s.

Clearcut conversions?
