Yo all, looking for a one nighter between Villanova and Haro on Saturday I would rather not use the dump that is Zaragoza. We have ACSI but nothing is coming up that is still open. Thanks.

Carinena, it’s just Aire parking beside the sports centre but nice and quiet with empty/fill facilities. Oh and did I mention a couple of good bars and bodegas ? ;)

We always stock up with wine in Carinena but this time we tried the aire in the little village of Alfamen just before Carinena. It was in the summer and had plenty of space to sit out.

Thanks all but Carinena is a bit out of the way if I am correct, we are at Vilanova Park just South of Barcelona, we will be travelling the AP2 onto the AP68.

You're right. There's a fairly new aire at Tudela which is a lovely old town. It's in a car park and the spaces are about 7 metres long. The aire at Cascante is fine too and will take larger vehicles.
There's also a spacious aire with free electric at Giminells north west of Huesca which is in a small friendly village. It depends what you want from a stopover.

We have stayed at a site in Navarette a few times.

Nice people run it. I don’t know if it’s still open though.

Thanks for the information all, we were woken at 06.00hrs by neighbouring Spanish registered van leaving, lots of door slamming and engine running 5-6 minutes. So we left Vilanova at 09.00hrs, it a Bank holiday here some started Thursday, lovely sunny day roads deserted so just kept going. An hour lunch stop North of Zaragoza and we pushed on total 468kms arriving at Haro 14.45hrs. So now chilling for a few days before the last leg to Bilbao later next week for our ferry to Portsmouth. OH has made notes of your suggestions. (n)(n)(n)
