views on motorhome hire

I not my cup off tea! but i wonder what members views would be letting someone hire your van for a week when it only sits on the drive! for some "48 weeks off the year" he said might be a idea to get income fo some! i think it must be a growing
idea with the rise off motorhomes in the uk.

With a Hire Van nobody gives a damn about how it is treated.
I certainly would not hire mine out.

I guess it could be like holiday statics or even holiday homes abroad - you buy with the sole intention of using it yourself but then find the extra hidden costs and/or you have other financial issues and NEED to hire it to try and break even.

I bet there are enough people in that category to provide sufficient rental vans out there.
