Video help on iPad

[Just smiffy]

YouTube video’s were working fine the other day now it says “video unavailable“ however video that I’ve post works ok...

anyone know how to rectify this on my iPad...?

Can’t help but have the same problem on most of the posts that include a video, mostly tells me not available

although oddly I can sometimes watch once but not a second time

edit - should have said while looking on iPhone all good on laptop

I have the same so go to YouTube and find video there. No idea why they won’t work from a link.

when i get probs
first thing i do is a reboot

ie turn off pad/phone
wait a minute
reboot holding home button and on button
until the apple appears let go

then see if its cleared problem

?

It’s strange as I’ve just been watching vids on the music thread and they play, but any vids that were uploaded in the last few days won’t...? Unless I’ve uploaded them...????

I think iPads are made by Apple...

If you can’t play the video then try copying the URL to a fresh page. That seems to work for me.

mostly music vids that have said unavailable on my ipad if i click the play triangle, has been saying it for weeks now, so i swipe back a page, go back to it and tap on the vid title instead which then takes direct to youtube, 'tis a bit of a pain in the butt though, hey ho..
