I have a normal wet lead acid battery which battery typ setting do I use in victron settings it shows agm lithium victron and 3 pzs settings

You will find FLA under the presets which means Flooded Lead Acid that is the one you should select.

Hi pete4x4 Have you got one of these victron b2b chargers then As you seem quite confident that FLA setting is there I have looked at the battery type setting loads of time and can't say I have seen that FLA setting

Yes I have the 30A Orion Smart on Lithium batteries. I'm not able to check the unit on my van but I did check the demo library in the app and for the Orion Smart as per every Victron device under the presets in battery settings - battery preset - Select preset there is FLA.

Hi pete4x4 Don't know if it me or not But still cannot find FLA In demo on ipad I get in battery preset Factory default user define select preset create preset & Edit presets but no FLA

So click select preset and a pop up window opwens with the predefined choices

Ok on my iphone I get FLA on my Mac I dont see FLA on the demo library. I just pit up a photo from my mac and realsed it wasnt there.
Thats weird.

I’m at the Motorhome tomorrow so will check. Clearly the iPhone app is different to the iPad and Mac app as far as the demo library is concerned

so it’s not you!!

Just thought I’d post the settings for a FLA battery from the iPhone device library as you can create your own using these settings

So did you download victron app demo on to your iphone then find it in your iphone device Library

Not really I use the iPhone app most of the time with my victron kit so it’s my app of choice. I looked this morning when you asked the question and saw it in the demo library of my iPhone.
I then replied to your post on my MacBook and eventually thought I’ll post a screenshot from my Mac once I’d figured out how to do it! Then I spotted the difference between the library on the Mac and the one on the iPhone

I should have said as you can’t see it when you connect to your B2B I suspect it isn’t there as an option so you will have to create one from the profile I posted here

Hi pete4x4 Got the daughter here today & tomorrow she as just tried on her iphone & Ipad and had no luck at getting FLA on battery settings too So the plot gets deeper

I would use the same as demo. I personally use the D+ signal from the alternator to turn it on so have no experience of using the alternator voltage settings. The demo ones look sensible

Thats exactly what I get Yet pete4 gets FLA aftet the AGM spiral cell more confused now than before So what's the general feeling that I should do And I don't want some smart ars to say use it for a door stop
