Hi.
Just had a general notification from Via Tag,that the Tag can be used in PORTUGUES Car parks ( Nothing about Spain). I know that most Funsters vehicles will be to high in most cases,but for open air car parks,with no height barriers,it is a plus.

Yep, just make sure you have you Reg recorded against you tag. that is a requirement for the toll roads now too.

Did it say how this works? Does the tag open a barrier or is the vehicle logged in on entry and exit? Presumably only working on specific car parks.

Only works on car parks signed Via Verde. They have numberplate recognition.

Hi DBK.
It says. Press the GREEN button and wait for the barrier to lift while it reads the Tag. On exit it would appear you just drive up to the barrier,it reads the Tag and lets you out,you get charged on the next bill. It must cost a bob or to to install,so perhaps City/Inner city car parks first.
