I've posted on this before, but all I could find on fleabay was strips of the same sort of thing as normal Velcro, but bulk packed, much cheaper, that may or may not have been real Velcro. I'm looking for the sort of thing that holds up the cushions in my van. It's a grade or three heavier. And suggestions?

I have this.... Very strong.

VELCRO Brand Heavy Duty Stick On Black Tape 50mm x 1m, Hook And Loop Tape Self Adhesive Strips Fastener Roll, Industrial Extra Strong Double Sided Tape Heavy Duty - Perfect for Home, Office, & Garage Amazon product ASIN B00186Q9AK

Staple the Velcro ends too, else if it gets very warm (like inside a MOHO) it can slide out of place. DAMHIK

If it’s too thick it will tear the other Velcro off of the cushions.
that’s one of the reasons we had to replace all our interior soft furnishings .

plus we could not get the cushions off of the lids to get access to the underside cupboards .

Thanks, it's for sticking heavy pvc panels up, I just used those as an example of what I'm after. Really thick and strong, not just slightly heavier than normal.

Burstner only use double sided tape on their wall panels. Perfectly acceptable if you only need to remove them occasionally

I have the same.

would love to get hold of the Velcro that held my knee sliders on my old leathers - took about half an hour and a brick bolster to remove them

Also many years ago, was told aircraft (?) Velcro, they had done a van conversion, took two of us to get the cushions off to make the bed

Have a look for 'velcro heavy duty' as already suggested.
Just used 4 x 50mm x 100mm to fix a TV screen - now it's so firmly fixed I cant get it off. (Sincerely hope that's not famous last words).
If it's a permanent fix u'r after you could use body mounting tape. It's what they use to stick panels on cars.

Have you tried Dunelm. They have various widths and colours

That sounds promising

A few good ideas here, will investigate further. Thanks guys

Just emphasising that the velcro stuff I linked to is very strong .... stronger than some of the items I've stuck it to so it can be tough to remove the item and can damage said items. Don't use too much at once.

That's why most of mine are missing

If you want something really strong have a look at the 3m range of hook & loop fasteners.

Hobby craft have heavy duty Velcro, we bought some for holding our waist level fridge in its cupboard after it fell out going around a roundabout near Aberdeen. Convertor had not screwed it in Place!
