Not had it done myself but have a friend who had their awning altered by a tent making firm, added an extra bit on for them. Was some years ago and firm no longer in business though. Might be worth an awning alteration/repair google.

There’s a good firm in Bolton that alters tents and awnings. Did a great job for us. Sorry can’t remember name offhand but sure yellow pages! Or google will have it. Presume you are North because of pick up points.

PS to above. It’s just a small shop down a street somewhere not a big camping shop concern. Think I have found it. Tent Valeting Services , at Farneorth Bolton. Worth at least a phone call for advice.
