I am new to Motorhomes owned a Swift Escape 664 for 3 months. When I have the Van in storage I turn off the main panel above the hab door and set the alarm thinking that's all I needed to do. I checked the Leisure battery voltage today via the command app its showing 12.4 which I think is low ? After doing some reading I think I should be shutting down the van using the system shutdown on the Sargent power supply unit under the seat, which I have never done and might explain my low volts on leisure battery ?

Question...will the striker+growler I have fitted still work if I push the shutdown button on the power supply, has it got a permanent live if so from which battery Leisure or vehical

Think it will still work even with your control panel shut down... easily checked anyway.. just do it and try..
I think its wired off the vehicle electrics .

The Growler will be connected to the engine battery not leisure battery.
