I have the Vanbitz Growler on my van with the attachment for the bike cable.
Does anyone have a picture of the wiring set up on the cable part that attaches to the van. Wires have come detached and I just want to screw them back into the correct place.
Thank you

Strewth, that's quick. I didn't really want to bother you. I'll be down that way hopefully in the next couple of months and drop by. Thank you
How could we ever be "bothered" by our customers?

If anyone needs info on any security item. DON'T ask here. Contact the original manufacturer / supplier.

Anyone asking these Q's on an open forum could be a looking for info to defeat a security system.

Yes it's B annoying when you can't xyz but think about it!!!!

If Fred knows down the road how to get in to your alarm/immobilise etc, what's the point in having it???????????

Good point, but this was just where to screw back in the wires that had become detached from the bicycle plug attachment.
It was to save Vanbitz the hassle

The issue and the request to fix will not impact on the security of the van or the bikes. Any fiddling with the wires whilst it is connected will result in an alarm. Good advice but in this case I think we can be assured that nothing untoward can happen

In many ways agreed but, its the thin end of the wedge, and may be the small detail a scally wants.

Just saying is all.

Companies like Vanbitz are good at prompt replies, so make sure you buy from a company that's going to be there when you need them!

Eddie what was the discount voucher you offered?

Agreed, but I would love to know the security weakness involved in the bike loop. Closed circuit, break it and off goes the (deafening) alarm. That is the only thing the trailer socket does

Without getting into too much detail continuity loops for such protection can be smart in the sense of detecting changes in loop length if shorted out.
Depends very much how sophisticated the system AND how dertmined/informed is the thief

It is a switch. Off/on.
