Following a flat vehicle battery last year I went ahead and bought installed a battery master from vanbitz.
Since then our vehicle battery has been happy :)
Now we are changing our leisure batteries from Lead Acid to Lithium Lifepo4 and want to know will the battery master still work the same is it did before when it was connecting a lead acid battery to a lead acid battery , where as now a Life po4 Lithium to a Lead Acid with the Lithium being UpTo 14.6v

Yup, works a treat, will just take the same way to wire and operate. The BM doesnt know what battery type it is, it just knows one voltage lower and draws from the big prother

I was using a Sterling version when I first changed over to LiFePO4 and found it was permanently on because the Li was above the trigger voltage most of the time. I think the Vanbitz is more sophisticated but I was still concerned that it might be active most of the time. I bought a 12V timer clock and a a Victron Orion 1212-15, which has an adjustable output voltage. I have set it to have a 20 minute burst once a day at about 14V and this keeps the engine battery at a respectable voltage.

Thanks all for the thumbs up , I thought it would be no different , but wanted to make sure to save the grief of another flat battery :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
