Dethleffs T 6767
Does anyone have any opinions on whether £47K is a reasonable price to pay for a 2017 Dethleffs Trend T 6767 with 16,000 miles on the clock, private sale?

It's a basic spec, noting wrong that I can see either mechanically or hab, 2 previous owners and a good history.

I'm a newbie looking for my first MH and I can't find much in the way of market pointers for that particular model and year.

Our 2019, traded-in Bailey 70-6 with 7k miles on it, was recently sold on by the dealer for 50k which was 4k more than i paid new. So 47k for a 2017 Dethleffs doesn't sound too bad.

I sold my 2017 Dethleffs Trend 6717, with 18k on the clock, to a dealer for 42000 in August. That’s only 1k less than I paid for it. The dealer is selling it for 49995.

If you’re having doubts it’s not worth it to you.

The market demand controls the prices and due to covid and the fact that M/H are considered a safe bubble demand is high. If you want it buy it, life is too short.

Yes, you're absolutely right. I've been humming and hawing for years and it's a bit spur of the moment now. Life is indeed too short and thanks for reminding me.

Doesn't sound a bad price, given the market, we had a 2017 i6767 which we loved, a great layout, but be careful, the sidewalls are glued and dowelled, and it seems there was a duff batch where the glue broke down, ours did, look where the kitchen work top meets the wall, it should be tight, ours had about 5-6mm and when driving it could be seen moving in and out.
The official repair is to fit a load of angle iron to brace the walls and units!

Doubts....turn on your heels and walk away 👍
I don’t doubts, just wondering if people with more experience of the market than me might have opinions on the asking price.

Dethleffs are excellent build quality and great parts supply. We have had quite a few over the years and our last two were Trends.
As for value for money, it is a touch high for 2017, but the market is hot, demand is way outstripping supply. Our 2018 LHD sold for £50,000 last month to a dealer.

This will be a very solid van and will hold it's value well. I would get a feel for the quality of other, similarly priced vans made by different makers to double check.
I feel that these are solid, German-made vans and if the layout is good for you, go for it.

Having had it now since a few weeks after my first post, I fuly agree regards the buld quality. To my (admitedly untrained) eye, the buld quality is top notch. The only fault I have come across thus far is a bulb that occaisionaly flickers above the cooker. Not a single regret with my decision to take the plunge on this.
