Up plating and insurance

Just got my v5 back with my new revenue weight and reclassification to phgv. I will phone Comfort tomorrow but just wondering if anyone who has done it, has it made a difference to the insurance premium?

Didn't make a blind bit of difference to our insurance, but it did to the breakdown and recovery that is tagged onto our insurance with the van now being rated at over 3.5t.

I have today notified Comfort of the down plating of my van from 3850 to 3500 kg. They noted the change in weight, but there was no change in the price.

Called them today, noted and no change in premium or administration fee. She just asked that I make sure I have the correct license.

No change in our case with a modest increase in weight 3500 to 3850kg.

Same when we uprated the last van. When we had Full Air fitted on the current one, they just said we have noted it, again no charge.
