Unidentified knob on board.

Please could anyone help identify the purpose of the knob top right hand corner of this picture? It's on our 2006 B654CL, to the left of the steering wheel on a LHD van. Fiat Manual doesn't mention it, unless I missed it. Thank you.

Turn the (unidentified) knob left or right for n/s or o/s mirror then use as a gimbal stick to adjust the relative mirror
