daveclare Thats because the new UK ones don’t come into being until 28th September.Have good old (actually new) GB stickers on plates, been in France for last 10 days done 1200 plus KMS past a good few police and Duanes on motorbikes without a 'pull'.
I like my GB plate, I'm in no rush to stick a UK plate on my van. I still get annoyed when I have to scroll past almost every country to get to 'United Kingdom' when inserting an address in a website. G or B would be closer to the top not at the bottom of the heap where U resides.Have good old (actually new) GB stickers on plates, been in France for last 10 days done 1200 plus KMS past a good few police and Duanes on motorbikes without a 'pull'.
Thanks for making it clear. I don't think I'll have much luck buying a UK plate sticker in France. May be in Spain or Italy by then.daveclare Thats because the new UK ones don’t come into being until 28th September.
Then regardless of updating the EU plates, as above, you still must display the large white oval ones with UK on in Spain and I think it is 3 other countries that we would not normally visit.
Until then we must display the GB signs tkk
Just ordered my new ones.

The thought police may soon be insisting we change to the United Persondom ....Anyway, if you do buy a sticker, save your receipt because if Sturgeon gets her way, we won’t be United anymore.
I wonder if they do a discount for just K?
We could be called Kingdom or Dom for short instead of the Brits.
The Dom music awards.
It’s got potential
Why?Apparently N Ireland is retaining the GB symbol on its number plates!
Still have the angles mort to put on. Been here a month. No problemsHave good old (actually new) GB stickers on plates, been in France for last 10 days done 1200 plus KMS past a good few police and Duanes on motorbikes without a 'pull'.
Wasn't your Kingdom the first to surrender to the Anglo-Saxons?Great Britain is the largest island of the British Isles and comprises Wales, Scotland, England and the ancient Kingdom of Kent
The new UK insignia requirement doesn't commence until 28 September, so it's not surprising you weren't pulled.Have good old (actually new) GB stickers on plates, been in France for last 10 days done 1200 plus KMS past a good few police and Duanes on motorbikes without a 'pull'.

No more wee-wee taking of the French svp!
But thats the whole point of this pointless change to support NI.Apparently N Ireland is retaining the GB symbol on its number plates!
Never going to get pulled for this, just have a look at the amount of vehicle that never had a GB sticker on previously. No one cares. The new UK insignia requirement doesn't commence until 28 September, so it's not surprising you weren't pulled.
Your choice for an outlay of less than £1.50...Never going to get pulled for this, just have a look at the amount of vehicle that never had a GB sticker on previously. No one cares.
Don't they sell the letters, 'U' and 'K' at the hardware stores in France? Thanks for making it clear. I don't think I'll have much luck buying a UK plate sticker in France. May be in Spain or Italy by then.
Another knee jerk political move as GB is geographically wrong also, I won’t be investing in new numberplates just yet if ever. But thats the whole point of this pointless change to support NI.
