I am wondering whether anyone has knowledge and experience of the process of re-registering a once UK-registered MH back in UK.

Our MH is currently registered in UK but soon will be registered in Poland.

In future, family circumstances may change and we may wish to move further West in Europe.

Rather than registering it in yet another country it may be easier to re-register back in UK since they have the vehicle on their records.

Is it just a matter of changing the single rear fog and reversing lights back over and adjusting the headlight dip again? The speedo is in both mph and kph already.

Thanks in advance for help.

You may have to look at any regulations around importing a vehicle into the UK after 1st Jan 20121. UK is out of EU and after that date any transition rules will not apply. You may therefor pay an import duty. Something to look into. I have no knowledge

Basically ,yes. simple. The fact that it was already sold & registered previously, in the UK,means it should just be a shoe-in. Might be an idea to keep a copy of all sides of V5 etc; .Usually you also get the same number plate back as long as they haven't sold it but you can notify them when it is being re-registered in Poland that it Might be coming back & tell them the windows are etched with the previous/current number.
That's what we always did when transferring private plates on & off vehicles with previously etched windows .

I had landrover registered in Uk , then re reg in Australia , after 15years re reg in UK , just took V5 and taxed it. No duty to pay as it had been payed when new in UK . Just had to put UK plates back on , take for MOT , and off we go again .
