I need tyres I know this has been asked before but which do you recommend? I always buy camping car tyres and have had Michelin and continental not impressed with either. Hoping for some help. Cheers

I looked at them but they didn't do a high enough load rating.I recently had Falken Euroall Season Van11 tyres fitted. I wanted something that would have a bit more grip in wet grass and mud, but didn't want to go for full-on winter tyres. Having just done a trip to Spain and back, I'm quite happy with them, but fortunately didn't get much opportunity to test the mud+snow performance.

Several Funsters have have walls cracking on the cross climate after only a year or two.Whilst I can't comment on the crapness of the michelin camper tyres, the michelin Cross climate van tyres we have are really good for day to day plus have the three peaks snow rating
I have read some comments about that but a company I work with have used them on all of their trucks with no issues. Some friends have had them on their hymer for a couple of years now with no problems. Hopefully I won't become another cracking statistic!Several Funsters have have walls cracking on the cross climate after only a year or two.
Weve been very pleased with our Michelin Cross Climates too. I hope Lenny HB’s delamination issue doesnt plague us, but for now, we’ve got some wonderful tyres.Whilst I can't comment on the crapness of the michelin camper tyres, the michelin Cross climate van tyres we have are really good for day to day plus have the three peaks snow rating
What tyres are those?View attachment 439637YView attachment 439640You can see cracks on these I had to replace, good tread on all four, 5 years old.

Ouch! Those goodridge all terain have a hefty penalty in fuel consumption. I know mate at work has them on two vans for ground work. At least 10mpg have disappeared.

Many MH's sit idle for long periods even when on holiday so CP tyres are (according to the blurb) designed for that and have stronger side walls and hence they recommend higher pressures. Commercial white vans are travelling all day maybe everyday so will just wear out tyres unlike MH ones which generally do not get worn out due to low mileage they just degrade from sitting about. I know some on here will say they do loads of miles and wear tyres out but the vast majority do not, even 10k miles a year is low mileage compared to a commercial delivery van.Ok, food for thought, I thought the tyres had to be CP and I do agree they are a rip off as anything to do with campingcar is ( at least here in France). I don't really go anywhere to warrant winter tyres. I do go to Spain in winter but never had cause to fit winter tyres. My van is 3.5 tonne, so surely it's a commercial vehicle so what's the difference.
This is exactly the same problem I encountered. I contacted Michelin and the usual reply came back as to tyre pressure, overweight etc. In other words it was my fault. A customer of mine who looks after a fleet of over 70 parcel vans isn't allowed to fit Michelin tyres to any of these vehicles. The company have over 2000 in the uk and have had big problems with all Michelin tyres and refuse to use them.View attachment 439637YView attachment 439640You can see cracks on these I had to replace, good tread on all four, 5 years old.
I haven't had any negitive points with then from the people we have spoken to who run on them .Those goodridge all terain have a hefty penalty in fuel consumption. I know mate at work has them on two vans for ground work. At least 10mpg have disappeared.
