My Autosleeper tyre pressures are 80psi. I bought a Rovtop tyre inflator (made in China) on EBay but it only ran for about 20 seconds before stopping dead and smelling faintly of burning. Unfortunately I hadn't tested it when I received it and was a few days outside the return window of one month.

Has anyone bought an 80psi + tyre inflator they are impressed with please? I don't mind paying for quality.

My Fiat came with a puncture repair kit that includes a compressor.

Thanks very much for the recommendations everyone. Most inflators seem to use croc clips onto the battery and I didn't want to have to lift the battery cover in the passenger floor every time.

I liked the Ryobi one but it's an expensive option if you haven't already got the battery / charger. But I've got Makita chargers and batteries so have bought a Makita inflator which looks really good and has great reviews.

I bought this earlier this year, very pleased with it.

Ring 900 for me too... like the big long air line... as mentioned.. most if not all vehicles with batteries in difficult to get to places have satellite point under bonnet to connect direct to battery.

Afraid I tried two Ring 900’s, both blew their fuses within seconds of trying to inflate. Possibly a duff batch, so went for the T-Maxx from a 4 x 4 company. Works very well. (y)

Another recommendation for the vonhaus cordless.
I did get a cheap clip on adapter rather than the screw on one for ease (as with my old vans alloys I seemed to lose as much air as I’d put in unscrewing the blooming thing).

It’s worth checking the current price on vonhaus directly as it’s often cheaper.

Those adapters make life a lot easier. (y)

Far better to use the scew on connector the clip on ones aren't designed for the high pressures our vans run at. I don't have any problems with the screw on type.

I bought mine from Amazon a couple of quid dearer than direct but free hassle free returns if I didn't like it.

Think you must have been unlucky...twice... plenty of Funsters on here have recommended them on various past threads on subject.

I purchased the Ring because of the recommendations on here. However, both blew the in-line fuse and I even tried them with fuses I had in my own tool kit. I can only conclude it was a duff batch of compressors. 🤷‍♂️ (y)

I’ve a 700 version and that blows fuses if I turn it on when connected to the tyre.
It’s ok if I turn it on and then connect it.

Another one for Ring 900. Had it for years (8+) and run it on the leisure battery. Reaches all 5 tyres. Might be better ones now or Ring's quality has dropped but I'm happy with what I have.

Amazon Basics inflater works for me (79.5psi) reaches alll tyres (6.99m van), croc clips into ducato van bay points. Has genuine 2 cylinders; screw thread

I bought a Worx inflator - already have several batteries for other ‘tools’……

I recently brought this one impressed so far but not so powerful that it blows fuses....
I too bought one of these and am not impressed with it. I find it incredibly slow to reach 80psi. Sometimes taking 10 mins per tyre. I do plug it into the cigarette lighter though with engine off. I wondered if I used the crocodile clips and had the engine running if it might work better?

Another Vonhaus user. Easy to use, conviennent to store, easy and quick to charge and powerful enough to top up all four to 75 psi.

My Transit based Hymer came with a Ford repair/reinflate kit. Very impressed with the compressor, use it quite a lot on several vehicles. Grunge applicator works well as well

We use Milwaukee battery powered tools exclusively, so it was a no-brainer to have their M12 Compact Inflator which I use with the 4Ah Li-ion battery. Goes to 120psi/8.27bar and has the screw on connector, so covers all bases - unlike the 2 Ring 12v units I tried that both crapped out within a month of buying.
