Cracking response from Chris Packham on the SGA pathetic response to the news that 2 satellite tagged Golden Eagles disappeared within hours of each other over Perthshire moorland managed for grouse shooting.

Heard that on the radio, CP is really angry; so am I.

Extremely serious fines needed I think.

It is disgusting that this type of behaviour from Gamekeepers is still occurring

Agree with all. This continues to be an issue up here. Not only Golden Eagles but other protected species. It’s all down to money. Gamekeepers working for overseas landowners who charge for shooting privileges.

The moor we live on in the north Pennines, the estate that owns it have just made the gamekeeper redundant, the moor and house are open to tender now for a 10 year deal.
No doubt the moor will get taken by a rich foreign group, wouldn't it be nice if a conservation group took charge and managed it, the diversity of waders, birds and wildlife is brilliant.
