We drove right by just as the meet ended (about last day), and went to Royant/La Rochelle etc, loved the area, and it's a good route back home from our son's. We're normally there in September. Hopefully things will be better next year for them.

me and 'er indoors will be popping in and out during your two week stay to say hello and put a few more faces to names. We may be able to call in on the 6th for an overnight if the site has space for another van but don't want to book anything and risk blocking a date for someone who wants to come down, we would be more than happy slot in anywhere. 'er indoors has to work to keep me in the luxury I've come to enjoy so sadly cannot spend more that a day or two at a time. I may evn get the chance to overfly and buzz you all, I wont carry any water bombs ..... honest.
