I was discounting these, because they looked so long, but they're only 300cm longer than our Navara and slightly wider.

We have our own parking on a plot next to house, can get the Nav in the space reversing, bit tight but doable in one.

So what is the lock like on these please ?

Cheers jakki x

I don’t know about the turning circle but 3 metres is significantly more.

I'm not good with metric, but our Nav is 5200 and these are 5550, so the difference is 350 ?

Is that right?

my mate had a small transit van mk3 1988 and the turning circle on that was great so think the duetto would be ok probably better than the navarra

the lock on the older transit was pretty good and was probably the best transit ever built for reliability. Can be fixed by a mechanic in Andover, Aberdeen or even Azerbaijan.

Turning circle and driveability was so good you can park it in a single bay at the supermarket and get up the average driveway of a house. They were the workhorse for the building industry, the couriers and the ambulance service all over the world.

Just watch out for chassis rust if it has been sat about

The duetto was a lovely well put together conversion and very popular

If based on the lwb transit it had a very good turning circle .

it's a difference of just 14 inches, and I used to park my navara in the same spot I used to park my transit

Looks like those figures are in millimetres so the difference is 350 mm or 35.5 cm. That’s more of a manageable extra length, and as above, 14 inches.

I had a duetto for years and have a 90 deg bend to the parking spot, no problem at all even with the car parked on the drive

The NZ couple with a youtube channel called The Wildering Campers went all over Europe in one. We had a similar Autosleeper on the VW base, great little vans.
