Just had a reply from eurotunnel re my request as to when they will post next year dates to book ,here's there reply

We hope that May and June will be release mid to end of September ,
and July and August end September/beginning of October.
Sorry I cannot be more specific, but that is the only information we currently have. We are working as hard as possible to get the dates released as quickly as we can.

What does it cost for a 6.5m moho ?

the size difference is over 5m under 8m i believe ( cost the same ) and that depends on type of ticket and time of day travelling.
you can go on the tunnel web pages and put in all details get a price and then just cancel with no commitment, so you will have a cost of crossing.

It depends on what time of day and which day of the week you want travel not on size motorhome extra if you take animals

It's sounds like they're bringing the dates forward.
We always book for beginning of school summer holidays, it's peak time and sells out quickly, so we're early bookers.
Dates for July/August are usually released second/third week of November, so Sept/Oct would be several weeks early.
Thanks for sharing, I'll have to keep an eye on it (y)

I think I read on here many moons ago that they don’t bother to check length of moho including bike on the back.
I’m not talking about trying to pay for a 5metre van when you’ve got one that’s 9 metres..........just whether the extra length with the bike has to be included when you book....and if you’ve known them ever to check?
Thanks.

There is no price difference on the tunnel for the size of motorhome.
A PVC or a Concorde will all be the same price.
Unless you need to cross at a peak time or date there seems to be little benefit in booking months ahead. Three or four days before is usually good enough for us.

Richard.

It only goes by day, time, etc. Length does not come into price - only to help their loading of each carriage

Guess I should have remembered that as we’ve used it,but only for two trips. The Duchess does all the booking stuff so probably knows............I’ll ask her when we’re having our meal tonight and she may be astonished by my knowledge in the matter....or maybe not;)

We’ve been around the terminal on 2 occasions cause we couldn’t get on the train.
They only want to know the length cos they do.

Regarding size for MH via tunnel no difference at all what ever the size. BUT IF YOU ARE TOWING it will cost you double

Colyboy cheapest way via tunnel is to go down the frequent traveller route

I've never been checked on lenght or the motorhome !!
When going to the stacking area at the barrier before going in where they tell you the lane to go into there are lines marked on the roadway so that the have got an idea of length for loading and which line to park you up un whilst waiting to load.
No tape measures though😊

They checked mine a month ago. Not to charge me anymore or less but to sort out what order they wanted us on. This so they can make best use of the space in the carriages.
The price is the same for all motorhomes whether 5 metres or 15 metres makes no difference to the cost.
