Tunisia - anybody been there?

Hi we have traveled most of Europe and have been to Morocco and as far as Turkey.
We would like to go to Tunisia this year and wondering if anyone has been there. We have read the blog of ourtour uk and a couple of others but these are a few years old. I know that recently there was a terrorist incident there but now it should be more secure. We went to Morocco after they had a bomb go off in the square in Marrakesh and the time we had there was great. Any info would be helpful.

You are braver than me, although I've not been there, I think I'd give Tunisa a wide berth for while yet...

I guess you will need a ferry from Italy to get there, given a land approach would be a bit problematic although it looks safe if you crossed from Algeria on the coast. Lots of Algeria out of bounds but like Tunisia the coast is safer. https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/algeria
