Hi
Our new to us motor home came plus a solar charger but minus the Compass' external water pump.
What is the water bearing tubing I'll need to add to just this water pump at Amazon?

! Now I've posted without searching older posts - too excited. sorry

it's 3/8ths.. no it's 9mm or 20mm and 1/2 inch is a bit big but the inside of the pump is 12mm ...

Immersion pump ELEGANT

Data sheet ELEGANT
supply: 12 V = / 12 Volt DC
current: max. 2,2 A
throughput: max. 10 l / min
delivery height: max. 5,5 m
pressure: 0,55 bar / 8 psi
power: 15 - 24 W
diam. / height: max. 38 / 104 mm

Standard blue pipe 12mm internal diameter.
Easier to fit to pump if immersed in very hot water to soften first as the pump stub appears to have a barb.
This type of pump must NOT be allowed to run dry.

:o My "Antrella Silicone Tube Food Grade 12mm ID x OD 16mm Wall Thickness 2mm Clear PVC Tubing Water Pipe Hose 2 Meters Long" tubing and Comet Submersible pump ELEGANT arrived today. :)

:( the tubing is ~1mm to wide. It should stay on with some tight tie wraps (or plumbing tape) but I thought I'd have a harder job fitting it :o
Time to get out an accurate measuring tool me thinks or just send back to sender (amazon).

EDIT: oh!! Although it should of worked, did I still manage to only heed part of the advice and bought the wrong thing?
This uses more of the words in my tubing advice: https://www.caravanaccessoryshop.co.uk/product/semirigid-hose-12mm-blue/1921 =

My apologies, partly my fault as I said internal diameter.
Send it back, you don't need food grade or silicon as all the pipework in the van is the blue (or red for hot water) hose anyway.
The stuff in your link is the correct pipe/hose.

I'll send it back and look at my 1st blue tube or buy a couple of meters of Amazon product ASIN B0071LNZ3A
Looking back at earlier posts it was clear you tried to help me buy blue tubing. Not the clear stuff. My bad.
tnx for the additional feedback
