Having a few problems getting the Truma boiler to work on gas . It was on and heated the water slightly but then cut out with a red light coming on along with the green light . The gas heater works fine . Is this likely to be a low gas situation? Is it possible the fire wound light but not the boiler if the gas bottle was almost empty ? I will try it on electric tomorrow and also replace the gas bottle .I can hear the click and hear it firing up , then after about 7 seconds it clicks off and the red light comes on .
Thank you

Thank you . Yes I am using propane . I think I will try a new cylinder and then if that doesn’t work I will change the regulator.

If the heater is working unlikely to be the regulator, as I would expect the heater to require a higher gas flow than the water heater.
My guess would be the flame safe thermocouple, I'm not sure in that unit if they are mechanical or electronic. If mechanical should be cheap & easy to change.

Update
Problem now resolved . I fixed a small leak on the cold water inlet and the boiler now heats up on gas with no issues . Thanks pappajohn for the advice on how to refit the elbow . It’s really cheered me up having this issue resolved as we are using the Motorhome as extra accommodation while family are staying over for Christmas.
