chausson welcome
Hi all, I'm about to attack and dismantle my heater with the view of testing and/maybe renewing the thermocoupler. My camper is a Fiat Ducato TD 1.9, 1999. Can anyone tell me how to test it. I have a meter. Also, could you suggest an 'economic' supplier of it. Thanks in advance.

Does it have a thermocouple ? to test a thermocouple you need to disconnect it from the thermo electric valve and use a multi meter to check the voltage when its in a flame anything over 12mv is good .You test from center to outer sheath

www.leisureshopdirect.com could possibly be able to help with the part you may need, ( depending on which model Truma heater you are trying to repair ) , but you may find that some Truma parts are no longer available .
Hi , thanks for your help. I've seen on eBay there is a choice of one! It looks the same but the numbers look like a later model. Maybe it will work.
