Truma heater issues

We are experiencing problems with our c model vertical model.It provides hot water and we are experiencing issues with the heater as it seems to only blow hot air once it’s turned to the off position.I have sent the pcb to Trauma who informed me there is nothing wrong with the board.Im thinking a fan issue .Any ones help would be awesome as I don’t really want to have to buy a new unit.

Has the knob been put back in the wrong position just a thought?
Does it go to all 5 positions?

Hi Vipar.
Thanks for the reply.All the knobs seem to goto all positions.I believe there is two fans in the unit.Im a gas engineer to trade and it’s got me beat.

By vertical model I take it you mean a C6002. Odd that you get heat after it's turned off. A couple of things worth looking at, are all the outlet pipes fully on the heater outlets not uncommon for one to drop off causing the area around the heater to get hot then the heater cuts out due to over heating. Also they don't like it if too many of the heater outlet vents are closed. Finally it means dismantling the heater the fan could be gummed up with fluff.
