just decided to try the electric/gas etc on my Trumer heater. I just can’t seem to get anywhere with it! Tried following the instructions but no good. I seem to have lost the gas bottle/electric symbol !

As we MAY be away over the New Year and have booked a rally in Cornwall which has electric, I wanted to make sure it worked on electric. But dumbo me can’t even get the Truma start on any setting , help please.

Colyboy. Ps photo of display taken from the instruction manual.

Might help if you post photo of display in your van when you switch on your 12v system🤔

Have you tried pressing the spanner to see if that brings up your settings?
As your display is not showing gas or electric it may be you need to reboot the display unit? Follow the link😊

Try the usual trick colyboy. Power it all down, have a cuppa, switch it on again and all will be well.

It may be you have inadvertently activated the off set function.
As suggested , keep hitting the back button [ press] till the main screen is evident.
Mike.

Try a reset, press the knob once then turn until you see reset then press agin.

Can you post up a an actual photo of your screen ?
If you've been fiddling with it for a while it's probably locked you out to take a breather.
Mike.

Sorry did not know the problem was! After quite a bit of advice and pressing loads of buttons, “Hey presto” everything is working well.

Once again everybody thanks for your help.

I did just pick up on mention of “ pressing loads of buttons” technologically speaking this is the first thing people do and the worst, don’t people realise that every time they “press” they are giving an instruction and overloading the capabilities of the board or whatever.
Problems could be solved much quicker by putting a little thought into it without the minor panic.just saying🤔
