A week ago our EE WiFi stopped. A red light came up on the device.
We had no connection. EE tried to be helpful and admitted it was a problem with many of the devices and they were trying to fix it. Said over 5% of their calls were about the same problem.
We had to get firm with them and so they credited us with £60 (3 months contract fees) so we went to Argos and tried out the same device. Still didn;t work so bought a different make and BINGO it's working.
Just wondered if this was happening to anyone else.

Can you identify the mifi you were using as its unlikely to be specific to EE.

It's just the white one and the 2020 version. EE say it is very weird and never seen anything like it before. Thetech team are trying to fix it. Your yellow one should be fine:giggle:

I've had a Yellow one for 3yrs, never used it a lot lately but when I did, it worked fine AND because I'm a EE mobile customer, it's heavily discounted, about a tenner a month I THINK?

The EE deal we started last year was 100GB £20 per month SIM only. The mini wifi device was a one off payment. Can be used all over Europe which is great for traveling. Disappointing when the device developed a fault but they gave us £60 credit to buy another different one which was good customer service. They are ringing back tomorrow to give us an update on progress on the fix (which doesn't affect us now as happy with new device).
